VoiceboxMD Mac User Guide

Installing VoiceboxMD #

Getting started with VoiceboxMD is simple. Here’s how to install it on your Mac:

  1. Visit the VoiceboxMD Mac Client Download page.

  3. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.

Logging into VoiceboxMD #

Log in to start using VoiceboxMD:

Logging Out of VoiceboxMD #

  1. Open the app and click on the Microphone icon to start dictation.

VoiceboxMD makes transcription effortless:

  1. Click the Microphone icon to start recording.
  2. Place your cursor on the document from which you want to get the transcript.
  3. Dictate your notes clearly and concisely.
  4. Click the microphone to stop the recording to view your transcription.

Perio Charting #

VoiceboxMD simplifies periodontal charting with Perio Mode:

  1. Press Left Command ⌘ + Shift + D to enable Perio Mode.
  2. A tooth icon will appear next to the microphone, confirming activation.
  3. Speak periodontal entries, and VoiceboxMD will input your data.

Troubleshooting #

If you encounter issues while using VoiceboxMD, try these tips:

  • Login Issues: Verify your internet connection and credentials.
  • Forgotten Password: If you forget your password, click “Forgot Password” on the VoiceboxMD login screen and enter your email address to receive recovery instructions.
  • Password Reset: To reset your password, navigate to the VoiceboxMD Control Panel settings and select “Reset Password” to update your password.
  • Delayed Transcriptions: Ensure no firewalls are blocking VoiceboxMD.
  • Microphone Problems: Check that your microphone is properly connected and selected in the settings.
