Updating VoiceboxMD #

Updating VoiceboxMD ensures you have the latest features and security updates. The process is simple and follows the same steps as the initial installation.

Upgrading to the newest version is simple and fast. You will use the same procedure as you did when you initially set up VoiceboxMD. When you reinstall it, the new version will replace the old one while keeping your original settings. Since you already have VoiceboxMD installed, you won’t need to change the setup.

  1. Close VoiceboxMD by right-clicking the VoiceboxMD icon in the top bar and selecting Logout.
  2. Download the latest version of VoiceboxMD.

Uninstalling VoiceboxMD #

To uninstall VoiceboxMD from your Mac, follow the standard procedure for removing applications:

  1. Open the Applications folder on your Mac.
  2. Drag the VoiceboxMD application to the Trash.

Speeding Up Your Transcription Workflow #

Here are a few ways to enhance your efficiency when using VoiceboxMD:

  • After installing VoiceboxMD, open the app and right-click > options > keep in docs
  • Use the Phrases tab in the Control Panel to create audio shortcuts for commonly used sentences. For example, you can program VoiceboxMD to insert text like “First examination” when you say “X1.”
  • You can add stock comments and common diagnoses to VoiceboxMD’s language set to facilitate dictation and avoid duplicating work. To do this, go to the Templates tab in the Control Panel.
  • Add specialized and unusual words to the Vocabulary tab in the Control Panel to reduce transcription errors.
