VoiceboxMD keeps your work in the cloud under your account. When you save on iPhone, that content is stored on the server. The desktop app (PC or Mac) uses the same account and cloud, so notes and transcripts carry over, you are not copying files by hand.
What syncs
- Notepad notes — Saved from the editor (title + body) when you use Save / Sync (cloud icon).
- Scribe output — Clinical notes you generate from Medical Scribe or Doctor–Patient after you finish and sync.
- Lists you see on mobile — Items like All Notes / transcripts are loaded from the server, so they reflect what is stored for your account.
Templates and phrases you manage in Settings are also tied to your account so they can stay consistent across devices where the product supports them.
How to stay in sync (one account)
- Use the same login everywhere
On mobile and desktop, sign in with the same VoiceboxMD account (same email/username and password, or whatever sign-in method your organization uses). - Save on mobile before you expect it on desktop
- In the notepad, finish your note and tap Save / Sync until you see confirmation (e.g. note saved and synced).
- In scribe, complete the flow so the note is generated and saved to your account (follow the on-screen steps through review/save as your app version shows).
- Refresh or open the list on desktop
On the computer, open VoiceboxMD and go to your notes / transcripts area. New items usually appear after the app refreshes from the cloud (opening the list or the app again often pulls the latest).
What “seamless” means in practice
- Dictate or scribe on the phone, save once → open the same account on PC or Mac and continue reading or editing there.
- Work is not trapped on the device as long as it has been saved to the cloud successfully.
Check that sync worked
- On mobile, after save, the sync indicator should show a synced / clean state
- On desktop, if something is missing, confirm same account, network on both sides, then reload the notes list or restart the desktop app.
If something does not appear on desktop
- Confirm you are not on a second account or trial workspace by mistake.
- Confirm the item was fully saved on mobile (not only typed locally without save).
- Check network and try again after a short wait.
- If your organization uses special hosting or SSO, follow their IT steps; the principle is still one cloud account, two clients.
